Summary The incumbent serves as a Motor Vehicle Operator in the Transportation Section of the Facilities & Engineering Service at the VA Maryland Health Care System. This section is responsible for the transportation needs of all three campuses within the VA Maryland Health Care System, which are located within 50 miles of each other. Responsibilities Major duties include: Provides transportation and delivery services for the VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS), including psychiatric, geriatric and long-term care patients, both male and female, visitors, and employees to and from VAMHCS facilities, office buildings, laboratories, parking garages, healthcare institutions, bus, train and airport terminals, and recreational trips for Veterans up to 3hrs away, as well as perform other transportation duties as directed by the supervisor.
