Motor Vehicle Operator (Laborer)

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Child and Youth Centers on JBER. Applications are open to ages 18 and older. This Regular Part-Time position is guaranteed 20 hours per week, may work up to 34 hours per week. Eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and benefits to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401(k) and NAF Retirement. A recruitment incentive of $1,500 may be authorized. Must be a minimum of 18 Years of age. Responsibilities Drives one or more types of passenger buses which 16+ passengers. Drives predetermined and/or scheduled routes or special runs on and off the installation, such as touring trips to historic locations and recreation events/facilities. Reads maps and judges road/traffic conditions to determine the shortest and safest route. Provides friendly, polite, and courteous service. Enforces passenger seatbelt use.
