Motor Underwriting Technician

Summary

Our client who is a Lloyds Managing Agency is looking for an Underwriting Technician to join their expanding Motor department in the Essex office. The purpose of the role is to process and Underwrite Motor policies.







Main Duties:



* Deal with a range of Motor risks including Motor Fleet and Motor Trade

* Handle telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally

* Respond to correspondence both internal and external

* Accurately write up & input new business cases

* Process all new business, adjustments and renewals

* Investigate and process items that fall into pending or failed on the system

* Deal with any accounts queries

* Participate in ad-hoc duties as needed
