Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Road & Bridge Administrator, the Equipment Operator C performs skilled work in the operation of heavy construction equipment in the maintenance, repair, and construction of county roads, bridges, drainage systems, and rights-of-way. This position is responsible for laying and patching asphalt, grading, maintaining street signs, hauling materials, and assisting in all phases of road and bridge maintenance. Work requires a high level of skill and safety awareness gained through extensive experience in heavy equipment operation.
