JOB PURPOSE

The role of the MOT Tester is to:è Undertake Class IV MOT tests to the government standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

è Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines

è To report additional faults requiring attention.

è To complete a full write up of work completed.

è To ensure all documentation is completed promptly.

è To maintain tools whether own or company in a safe and clean condition.

è To ensure that all requirements of Harwoods health and safety procedures are maintained.

Skills & Requirements

Essential

è Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.

è Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation

è Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.

è Energy and enthusiasm.

è Full UK driving licence.

è Smart appearance.
