Mortgage Loan Processor / Junior Underwriter

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor / Junior Underwriter to support loans in the critical stages between final approval and closing. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage guidelines and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve loan issues to ensure timely closings.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience reviewing income, assets, and appraisals, and can confidently work through complex loan scenarios while supporting underwriting decisions.
Key Responsibilities

+ Review and analyze loan files between final approval and closing to ensure compliance and completeness

+ Calculate borrower income and evaluate assets, including large deposits and bank statements

+ Review and assess appraisal reports for eligibility and accuracy
