Job Description

Position Summary:
 The Lead Custodian supports JCCC by serving as a vital link between management and the custodial staff, balancing hands-on maintenance with frontline supervision. This role is responsible for coordinating daily assignments, leading special project teams, and ensuring that all facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Beyond performing routine cleaning and specialized floor care, the Team Lead provides essential training and support to staff, monitors inventory levels and assists in the execution of facility events and furniture reconfigurations. The incumbent ensures a safe working environment by enforcing protocols and providing performance feedback to help the team achieve operational excellence.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year(s) of relevant experience.

The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds.

Required to drive college vehicles.
