Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
The position is responsible for overseeing the monitoring and maintaining of point of care testing in an area/zone. 
QUALIFICATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Laboratory Technology.
Holding a practicing (non-temporary) license and in good standing with the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists. 
Must have a minimum of three years of related experience.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Point of Care Coordinator is responsible for:
Assisting in the development, implementation, monitoring and auditing of procedures, policies and quality assurance programs
Ensuring on-going laboratory compliance with accreditation standards
