Job Description: Overview: We are seeking a Lab Scientist for a state of Connecticut regulated (CLIA) clinical laboratory
The position is to support nucleic acid extraction and analysis from clinical and research samples
Responsibilities will include biofluid and tissue sample management, sample extraction on both manual and robotic systems, sample tracking, quality control, quantification, and analysis
Primary Responsibilities: Support the isolation, quantification, and analysis of nucleic acids from human biospecimen samples
Manage biofluid and tissue biospecimen registration, Inventory, and destruction
Demonstrate good documentation practices and attention to detail related to the above
