Molding Production Manager

General Functions
This position is responsible for all production aspects of a business unit(s) within the manufacturing organization.
Develops tactical and strategic objectives to meet goals of the department.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and evaluate both direct and indirect resources to ensure high productivity levels
Oversee a workforce of hourly and salaried employees, in multiple manufacturing departments, and shifts
Track and meet daily/weekly/monthly KPIs: Safety Near Miss Reporting, Quality/Scrap, Volume/Productivity, Efficiency and Lead-Time
Identifies and presents plans to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
Set ambitious production goals, communicate them to key personnel and influence team to buy into those ambitious goals
Provide guidance, motivation, and establish methods that will promote objective thinking and teamwork within department
