Mobility Technician - Rehab Med - Physical Therapy, per diem

Overview
At the direction of the Director, supervisor, and/or under the guidance of a Rehab therapist or registered nurse: assist in or provide mobilization of patients; assist with personal care of patients; prepares equipment used to mobilize or treat patients; answers call bells of patients; provides administrative assistance and duties specific to the clinical care department.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and position patients for treatment. Assists the Rehab therapists during and after treatment.
* Answers patient call bells
* Assists nursing staff with personal care of patients.
* Assists with ambulation and exercise plan at the direction of the treating therapists or registered nurse.
* Obtains supplies, sets-up and adjusts adaptive equipment, and prepares treatment modalities.
* Assists with transfers and mechanical lifting of debilitated patients.
* Assists in transporting patients to and from the gym or ancillary departments.
