Mobile Mechanic

Position

Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division - a new era of mobile repair.

Location

You will be part of the Esher cluster, covering areas such as Esher, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Epsom, Ewell, Tolworth, Chessington, Worcester Park, Sutton, Croydon, Mitcham, and Wimbledon. You will work through a scheduled list of jobs in your local area, with a fully equipped van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set and advanced diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment, in‑depth repairs normally done in a workshop, member advice and recommendations, and vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
• Maintain a clear digital schedule, with each job pre‑booked and members expecting you.
• Prepare for each job and perform quality work without reactive callouts.
