Reporting directly to Skeena’s Health & Safety Manager, the Mobile Equipment & Safety Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality equipment and safety training, ensuring operator competency, maximizing equipment utilization, and enhancing production safety.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance
  • Actively engage in safety initiatives, toolbox meetings, hazard identification, and incident investigations to promote a safe workplace.
  • Deliver mandatory safety training, including orientations, fall protection, confined space entry, and other specialized courses.
  • Promote and sustain a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
• Operator Training and Development
  • Deliver training and coaching to operators on the safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment through classroom instruction and fieldwork.
