Mobile Crane & Boom Truck Service Technician

At MGX, you’ll join a shop team that keeps critical lifting equipment running safely and reliably. Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll spend your days diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile cranes and boom trucks—work that directly impacts our customers’ jobsites and timelines.

You clock in and review the work orders for a Grove RT and a National boom truck awaiting inspection. You pull the drawings, confirm parts availability, and get to work. With micrometers and gauges in hand, you examine wear points, read OEM manuals and technical drawings, and track findings in your reports. You trace a tricky electrical fault using schematics, replace a hydraulic component, and then run a full battery of tests to verify performance against OEM specifications.
