MLT or MT - LAB

+ JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ Education
+ Must be a graduate from an approved MLT school and registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or ASCP registry eligible and fulfills Federal Register section 493.1495 personnel requirements.
+ Experience
+ Previous experience in a clinical laboratory desirable.
+ Physical
+ Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Exposure to biological and mechanical hazards. Operates various lab analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, lab refrigerators and freezers, alarm systems, incubators, rotators, water baths, safety hoods, incinerators, PC’s, computer terminals and printer, telephone. Frequent standing and walking. Occasional sitting and bending. Lifting, carrying, pushing / pulling up to 50 lbs.
