To enhanceinfocommsecurity capabilities inGovTechand the whole-of-government,GovTechwill be appointing Chief Security Information Officers (CISO) at the various ministries tooverseeinfocommsecurity management. TheCISOis responsible forthe planning,developmentandensuring allimplementation of information security strategies and related policies.He/Sheis also required tofollow, implement and refineorganisationalsecurity policies and best practices in line with regulatory requirements and whole-of-government directions.

• Obtain executive support and provide leadershipfor the Ministry and its agencieswithin the information security sphere through development ofappropriate cybersecurity strategies and action plans
• Formulate information security goals andestablishpolicies,standardsand procedures in line with whole-of-government cyber security directions
