Job Description

The Opportunity
This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality workmanship, consistent service, and strong technical expertise within Wajax’s Mining Division. The successful candidate will perform all tasks related to the inspection, testing, diagnosing, rebuilding, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of large‑scale mining equipment components, with a primary focus on Hitachi mining shovels (EX1200 through EX8000) and Hitachi/Bell haul truck components.
This position may require occasional travel for field support within mining operations.
The Role
Inspect, diagnose, and evaluate mining components to determine required servicing or rebuild needs.

Perform major component rebuilds for:
Hitachi mining shovel components (EX1200–EX8000), including final drives, swing gearboxes, and other critical systems.

Haul truck components, including, wheel groups, and differentials.
