The role

The Mining Activity Engineer reports to the Section Manager Planning.

Responsibilities

• Compiling designs, detailed plans and short-term schedules for major mining activities on the mine
• Compiling of weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual reconciliations as part of compliance to plan reporting
• Supply required information for weekly marketing and management plans
• Assist in compiling weekly review (planning) meetings presentation(s), as well as the monthly planning meeting
• Liaising with other Activity Engineers with regards to integration of mine plans
• Liaising with various other departments including, but not limited, Survey, Geology, Environmental, Mining, Metallurgy and Engineering <...
