**Job Description**

This role focuses on setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery in a sawmill environment that includes a sawmill, planer mill, and re-saw plant. You will work primarily in the sawmill alongside a team of experienced millwrights, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment in the sawmill, including head rigs, quad saws, edgers, sorters, stackers, log cut-up systems, Nicholson debarkers, and related machinery.
+ Complete preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
+ Follow manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical specifications to perform maintenance and repair tasks accurately.
