**Milling/Turning Machine Operator – 1st Shift (High‑Volume Job Shop)**
A well‑established machine job shop is seeking a Milling/Turning Machine Operator to set up, run, and inspect parts in a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses heavily on machine operation, steel material handling, and precision measurement while supporting both small custom jobs and large production runs.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Operate milling and turning machines to produce parts for industrial applications.
+ Load and unload steel materials safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
+ Run machines for most of the day, producing up to 400+ metal parts per shift.
+ Perform inspections using a tape measure and basic measuring tools to verify part accuracy.
