Summary This MILITARY AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST is located in the Joint Force Headquarters (State), Support Programs Division and is part of the CA CHQC Joint Staff. Responsibilities THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the MILITARY AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9, is to provide support in the administration of Military & Family Readiness Program (SFRP) services for the Army National Guard within the State Family Program. Conduct briefings at the local, unit and state levels. Provide training and technical support to Commanders and Family Readiness Liaisons to support their Unit Family Readiness program and Soldier & Family Readiness Groups (SFRGs).
