**Job Title: Mig Welder**

**Job Description**

Join a family-owned weld shop where you will work independently on a wide variety of structural projects for the commercial and industrial construction industries. You will primarily be MIG welding these projects from blueprints, but will occasionally include FCAW welding structural materials. The majority of projects range in thickness from 1/4 to several inches in thickness.

**Shift:** 1st shift (4X10's schedule)

** 2nd shift also available **

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform custom welding and fabrication work on large structural projects as well as one-off custom parts
+ MIG and FCAW weld mild steel materials ranging from 1/4 to several inches in thickness
+ Work from blueprints to ensure projects are built to specifications
+ Grind and finish welds after projects were built
+ Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials
