MIG TIG Welder

Our client, based in the Oldham area, is looking for a MIG & TIGWelder. Pay is £15.50 per hour PAYE, equivalent to a basic annual salary of £31,434. This is a permanent position; applicants must be looking for long‑term work and be able to commute to Oldham.

Primary responsibilities include MIG welding frames and carrying out TIG welding with stainless steel in the manufacturing process of custom‑built equipment.

Hours of work are 7:45am–4:45pm Monday‑Thursday, with a 12:45pm finish on Friday.

Requirements

• City and Guilds / NVQ Level3 in Welding or equivalent.
• MIG welding of 3‑5mm mild steel and stainless steel, TIG welding.
• Experience with thin gauge stainless steel welding to a good finish.
