MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER - ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION - BUSH CAMPUS

Full-time (1.0 FTE), 7-hour day, 10-month, school calendar year position


+ Provide instruction to Alternative Education middle school students in core subject areas

+ Administer state assessments

+ Provide engaging and diversified instructional strategies to meet the learning styles of all students

+ Use assessment data to identify the learning gaps of students

+ Monitor students’ academic progress including, but not limited to progress/marking period grades, and attendance

+ Implement 504 plans and IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students with divers learning needs

+ Provide effective classroom management and supervision

+ Work as a team with the other teachers and counselors in Alternative Education
