Our client is looking for an experienced Microsoft Security Engineer to strengthen and enhance a Microsoft-centric security environment in Utah. This long-term contract position is ideal for an individual who can secure cloud and identity platforms, guide governance and compliance efforts, and provide practical risk insight to both technical teams and business leaders. The role focuses on protecting Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems, improving endpoint and network security, and helping the organization stay ahead of evolving threats, including risks related to AI-enabled tools.
This person will be responsible for
+ Managing outcomes from audits and testing
+ Tracking critical findings
+ Driving remediation efforts
+ Holding teams accountable for closure
+ Monitoring findings
+ Coordinating corrective actions
+ Communicating status updates
