Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist – NETE

Weir Marine Engineering (WME) seeks a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist to work with Windows Server, Directory Services, Azure cloud integration and related technologies in projects to develop, test and deliver complex IT solutions for existing and future Royal Canadian Navy ships.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Interfacing: Interact with clients and business/technical stakeholders to understand, extract and develop project requirements (functional, operational, performance, security, etc.) and prepare/deliver technical presentation material.
• Enterprise Integration: Design, set up, configure and test new IT systems, technologies or capabilities for integration into a large existing Microsoft enterprise environment.
• Technical Work Implementation: Perform integration, performance and functional testing of changes to current systems within a Microsoft‑based hybrid network infrastructure.
