Microbiologist Supervisor

Job Description :

Reports to: Director of Manufacturing or Technical Manager or Quality Manager

• Develop & implement a microbiological sampling and testing program
• Ensure all testing is performed according to Corporate methods, Micro test method, and policy and adheres to good microbiological practices.
• Plan and executes a program of routine problem resolution and continuous improvement.
• Understand and use basic laboratory safety equipment and instructions, precautions in handling and disposing of biological materials, in accordance with local environmental regulations.
• Report correct records of data and maintenance to appropriate individuals, including management.
• Train & develop the laboratory staff including microbiology training for plant floor management and operators.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers & labs, suppliers, etc. in internal audits and external audits
