Job Summary
The Metallurgy Engineer will be responsible for material selection, metallurgical analysis, and testing activities to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of materials and equipment used in the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
Job Responsibilities
Perform material selection and metallurgical evaluation for equipment and components.
Conduct material testing and failure analysis to identify defects and root causes.
Review material specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements .
Evaluate corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of materials used in operations.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on testing results.
Support inspection and engineering teams in material integrity and reliability assessments .
