Metallurgist

**Overview**

Element has an opportunity for a **Metallurgist** whose primary responsibility isto safely perform tests and report testing evaluations. Work is to be performed in accordance with established QA procedures.

Salary: $70K-$85K/yr

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare and operate all equipment necessary to perform testing in the Metallurgical Lab
+ Performs daily verifications and adjusts equipment baselines accordingly
+ Performs standard and non standard metallurgical evaluations
+ Maintains testing equipment for operation and performs routine housekeeping tasks associated with the area(s) trouble shooting as necessary.
+ Insures that ample supplies are available for operation of testing area
+ As needed, interface with clients on matters of concern/interest
+ Other duties as required

+ Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy or related discipline
