Job Summary Create, document, develop and implement procedures required to manufacture products and test processes.
Required Education And Experience
Metallurgical Engineering Degree, Materials Engineering or Diploma from a Canadian University or College
3-5 years manufacturing experience in a related field (preferably in automotive)
Ability to perform manual related tasks(cutting, mounting, polishing test samples, and maintain test equipment)
Basic machining skills a plus
Advanced Metallurgical testing knowledge and skills preferred
Experience in metallurgical testing such as hardness, Strain analysis, tensile testing, yield analysis, elongation.
Proficient in using X-ray equipment and handheld portable XRF analyzers
Solid understanding of microstructure analysis, steel grain structures, heating and cooling curves
Good knowledge of steel compositions and the effects on steel processing in house a...
