Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Metal Cutting Operative to join a busy automotive operation in Long Bennington. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident using power tools and enjoys practical work within a workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting metal poles and components to the required size using an angle grinder and other workshop equipment.
The Role:
Measuring and cutting metal poles and components to required lengths

Using angle grinders and other handheld tools safely and effectively

Following measurements and job specifications accurately

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Following all health and safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE
The Person:
Previous experience using angle grinders or similar power tools

Good understanding of workshop health and safety
