MEP BIM Coordination Engineer

Role Description

• BIM coordination for all MEP services: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, BMS, and ELV for the data center.
• Develop and maintain federated models in Revit + Navisworks per Google’s BIM Execution Plan and LOD 400 requirements.
• Manage clash detection/resolution workflows for critical MEP systems with tight spatial constraints typical to data centers.
• Coordinate raised floor, ceiling void, and riser shaft spaces for UPS, CRAC units, cable trays, bus ducts, chilled water piping, and fire suppression systems
• Implement and enforce BIM standards, and client-specific naming conventions. Generate MEP shop drawings, builders work drawings, sleeve layouts, and hanger locations from the coordinated model.
