Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Salisbury

An incredible school in Salisbury are looking for a graduate to join their friendly team of support staff, as Mental Health Teaching Assistant. You will support students with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, including students who exhibit anti-social and challenging behaviours. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will support the academic learning, emotional wellbeing and behaviour of the students at the school. The children have a range of Special Educational Needs, and therefore require consistent, ongoing support to ensure they have the highest quality of care. The school employ a therapeutic approach so will offer a range of training to the Mental Health Support Assistant appointed. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
