Mental Health Support Worker – Durham

Do you want to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people? Are you passionate about making a difference for students who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, or social and emotional needs?
Protocol Education is working in partnership with a specialist school in Durham that supports children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join their team and play a key role in promoting wellbeing and resilience.
Your Responsibilities:
Work with pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis to provide emotional and mental health support
Help students develop strategies for managing anxiety, low mood, anger, and emotional regulation
Support with the implementation of behaviour and wellbeing plans
