SUMMARY:
As an essential member ofour Street Reach North team, the Mental Health Clinician plays a pivotal rolein providing expert care, support, and therapeutic interventions to individuals
experiencing mental health challenges and who are identified as youth who are
at high risk of sexual exploitation or already have been victims of
exploitation. This role is integral to fostering emotional well-being and
helping youth navigate their personal journeys.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In Consultation with
local services:
oConduct
thorough psychological assessments and evaluations
oMaintain
accurate and timely clinical documentation
oCoordinate
care with other healthcare providers and support staff
oOffer
crisis intervention services when necessary
oStay
updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment
