About the Role

We are looking for a positive and confident Mental Health Assistant to support our tight‑knit team in Acute Mental Health Ward 9B.

Responsibilities

• Support nurses and other health care team members.
• Assist with patient movement.
• Provide patient care as required.
• Reconcile stock.
• Maintain ward facilities.
• Supervise patients and deliver one‑on‑one care when needed.
• Rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Full driver’s licence.
• Working rights in New Zealand (no visa sponsorship offered).
