About the Role


The Medium Term Planning Engineer is the key liaison between the Technical Services and Mine Operations teams. You will be tasked with achieving and maintaining good relationships with both teams, identifying where plans and actions are diverging and addressing the gaps to maintain adherence to plan. Key result areas in this role include: 

  • Committing to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within your own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution. 

  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements in respect to mining activities are met. 

  • Designing pit opti shells based on the resource geology model 

  • Designing open pits for mining proposals from the opti shells

  • Develop and provide safe and efficient drill and blast plans. 

  • Daily monitoring, recording and optimisation of production progress.
