Our client is advertising an opportunity for a General Medicine Consultant to permanently join their team at a public hospital in the North Island of New Zealand.
The ideal start date for this position is 1 September 2025.
, This hospital offers a comprehensive health service and includes inpatient beds with private ensuites, four maternity beds and a fully equipped birthing room. A 24-hour emergency department provides emergency services.There are multiple services including:
• Inpatient Ward
• Emergency Department
• Maternity
• Outpatients
• Physiotherapy
• Community Health
• Laboratory
• X-Ray
Location Information
The town is situated on the west coast of the North Island, 75 km south of New Plymouth on State Highway 3, or around the coast on SH45, known as 'Surf Highway' for its numerous surf beaches. It is located 20 minutes' drive from Mount Taranaki or Mount Egmont.
