Medicine Counter Assistant

Job Purpose:

The Medicine Counter Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily retail operations of the branch through professional customer service, accurate sales processing, proper product handling, and adherence to operational standards and company procedures.

The role serves as an entry-level frontline operational position within the retail pharmacy environment.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Frontline Support

• Attend to customers politely, professionally, and promptly.

• Provide basic assistance to customers within approved operational scope.

• Escalate medical or complex customer concerns to the Pharmacist or Supervisor where necessary.

• Maintain professionalism and positive customer engagement at all times.

2. Sales & POS Operations

• Ensure all sales transactions are accurately entered into the POS system.
