**The position**

The **Medical Science Liaison (MSL)** serves as the primary medical contact for External Experts, engaging them in scientific discussions and projects to maximize the potential of Boehringer Ingelheim medications. These activities align with the agreed strategy and compliance regulations, balancing customer-facing and back-office responsibilities.

**Tasks & responsibilities**

As **Medical Science Liaison (MSL),** you will be responsible for:

+ Building and maintaining medical/scientific expertise for the pipeline product in Cardio-Renal-Metabolic Therapeutic Area
+ Strategic planning and implementation of pre-launch medical activities
+ Providing strategic medical input for local new brand launch preparation.
+ Planning, executing and monitoring the effectiveness of local medical activities.
