Medical Receptionist

Park Farm Medical Centre are looking for a Receptionist to join our busy team based across two sites. We are advertising for approximately 30 hours, however we would be willing to consider a range between 25 - 37 hours.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and be able towork in a pressurised environment whilst remaining calm, professional and empathetic.

Previousexperience in General Practice is desirable but not essential, as full trainingwill be provided. Knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will help care for our patient population. Signposting patients, using SystmOne to book and manage appointments, receiving and processing phone calls, prescription management, scanning documents and problem solving.

Experience of working in a public reception environment is desirable, whilst being able to communicate well with the public is essential.
