About the Role

• Receive, register, and prepare samples for testing and distribution within the laboratory and to external laboratories.
• Perform phlebotomy and associated patient service duties.
• Undertake laboratory analysis and testing of samples.
• Monitor and recognise normal and abnormal results and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Identify and address machine or technical irregularities, notifying the Laboratory Manager or Technical Specialist as required.
