Medical Laboratory Technician

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will accurately analyze and report all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Every day, you will align with local and state requirements performs lab test procedures on patient specimens adhering to the Section’s Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

To be successful in this role, each day you will provide the following:

+ Deliver exceptional patient care by clinically correlating results, identifying biases, promptly reporting critical values, and completing all testing within established turn-around-time limits.
+ Maintain optimal equipment functionality by performing essential maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and coordinating vendor support for major automated instruments.
