Job Description
UPMC Bedford is looking for a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician or a Medical Laboratory Scientist to work the evening shift with rotation to third shift.
As a Medical Laboratory Technician, the starting rate is $22.12. with a sign on bonus of $10,000 with a 2 year commitment.
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, the starting rate is $27.78 with a sign on bonus of $15,000 with a 2 year commitment.
The final candidate will be hired into the correct title and pay based on education and experience level
Responsibilities:
+ Interact with all laboratory customers courteously and professionally; respond to telephone inquiries in a timely manner. Practices pleasant communications both internally and externally.
+ Adhere to established laboratory and hospital policies in areas of procedures, methods, quality control, quality assurance, safety, compliance, and personnel policies. Follow established procedures for the collection (including phleb...
