Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. You will contribute to patient well‑being and participate in teaching and continuous improvement.

Job Details

• Status: Temporary Full Time (greater than 12 months)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Shift: Afternoon Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, includes Saturdays and Sundays
• Discipline: Hematology
• Number of positions: 1
• Start date: ASAP
• Union: OPSEU LAB collective agreement

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
• Prepare and process samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Perform, interpret and release results, while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
