Medical Equipment Technician

Job Description

+ Provide excellent customer service to patients using sleep PAP and other DME equipment

+ Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment in patient homes, including oxygen systems

+ Educate customers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of respiratory and HME equipment

+ Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, including urgent/emergency situations

+ Complete accurate patient visit documentation and reports following setup and follow-ups

+ Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment deliveries meet service goals and timelines

+ Process orders accurately and in a timely manner

+ Promote company products and services to referral sources within the community

+ Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs

+ Conduct patient assessments and re-assessments as needed

+ Ensure complete and accurate documentation for reimbursement purposes
