Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience coding inpatient/outpatient medical records in a BPO setting
• Must hold a coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC (such as CPC, CIC, or CCS and COC)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Required to complete onsite training before transitioning to a remote work setup.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient records and assigns appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes based on ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, or other authorized coding systems, ensuring compliance with coding standards and regulatory requirements.
