The Medical Assistant provides safe and efficient patient care services under the supervision and direction of a licensed provider and nurse. This role involves performing various administrative duties and requires completion of training and competencies necessary for a medical technician to care for clinic patients. The position is back-office focused, primarily involving charting for a general practice clinic in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities

+ Take vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, age, weight, and temperature.

+ Room patients and set up files for the doctor.

+ Prepare rooms and stock supplies after the patient leaves.

+ Work collaboratively with one provider.

+ Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

+ Assist with patient care and customer service.
