Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Description: RN Med Surg- Nights auto offer 36 or 48 hr option- anything over 48 hours is overtime. BCLS required. CPI preferred. Nurse to patient ratios 1:6. Rapid response team activation. 1 year of recent experience required. Unit accepts 1st time travelers. Epic charting. No call; floating to like units. Weekends: 6 weekend shifts within 6 weeks. 32 beds on unit.

Skills: Blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, colostomy/ileostomy management/care, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), feeding tube care and management, heparin, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), insulin, isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, PCA, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, wou...
