MECHANIC/TECHNICIAN

Monitor, repair, and perform preventive maintenance program on all plant food equipment to ensure that all machinery is functional. Experience in the food industry preferable. Troubleshoot equipment such as ovens, packaging machines and mixers. Assists in start-ups, shut downs, and operations of all equipment. Identifies and troubleshoots problems to make repairs accordingly. Researches and places orders for parts. Ability to correctly read and interpret schematics. Experience working with preventative maintenance software. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with lots of change. Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures. Must pay attention to details with a customer service attitude. Strong team player with excellent problem solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bilingual a must. Trade apprenticeship preferred. 1-2 years of experience as a Kitchen/bakery mechanic technician preferred. Technical school certifica...
